A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Prince Sani Ogu Salisu, has stated that if General Muhammadu Buhari emerges as the President of the country during the forthcoming 2015 general elections, the issues of insecurity, poverty and unemployment would belong in the past history of the country.

Salisu commended the delegates to the recent APC presidential primary election for electing General Buhari as the party flag bearer for the 2015 general election, noting that APC presidential candidate has what it takes to pilot the affairs of the country through the provision of the much needed dividend of democracy to the citizens. In an exclusive chat with THISDAY in Lokoja, Salisu noted that if the APC candidate wins the 2015 general election the issue of insecurity in the North-east, kidnapping in the South-east and South-south and assassination in the South-west will be a thing of the past.

According to him, “we are appealing to all Nigerians to cast their votes for General Buhari because he is the only incorruptible Nigerian that can address the issue of corruption, insecurity, unemployment and improve the economy of the country”.

Salisu is a former House of Assembly aspirant for Idah State constituency under the platform of the APC and the state youth coordinator of Buhari presidential campaign organisation, with the Kogi chapter led by Mr. Ocholi James (SAN).
