Group Solicits For President Jonathan’s Re-election

A United Kingdom based N.G.O , STRATEGY GROUP 2015 have called on Nigerians at home and abroad to identify and support the re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.
The group which is made up of Professionals,Academicians,Students and other notable Nigerians living in UK,USA,EUROPE and ASIA gathered on saturday (28th dec) at Nicon Metropole hotel in london for their end of the year party and sensitization programme.
Speaking at the occassion , the co -founder and chairperson of the group in UK Lady Olive Onwualu went down to memory lane and enumerated the Achievements of President Jonathan in his Transformation Agenda and called on nigerians both at home and in diaspora to support the re-election as it is his constitutional right to seek for a second term of office. Lady onwualu cited Abuja-Lokoja,Abuja-Kaduna-Kano roads as well as the improvement in the power sector amongs others.
Earlier in his address Dr Shehu faruq koko , the coordinator of Strategy Group 2015 in Bulgeria enjoined Nigerians to live in peace with one another and eschew politics of bitterness and division as according to him ‘Our country is well blessed with human and natural resources ‘
In a goodwill message sent to the occassion, Dr promise okoro a university don and coordinator of the group in nigeria calls for a truce between president Jonathan and former president Obasanjo insisting that the country loses more and the polity further heated when its leaders are at loggerhead. He called on nigerians to pray for the peace and progress of the country all the time.
The event featured different cultural music and foods from the six geo-political zones of the country and was witnessed by friends and well wishers of nigeria in london.
