MOBO Awards: Wizkid, Burna Boy win big

After a three year break, the Men Of Black Origin, MOBO awards event held on Wednesday at the Exhibition London in Shepherd’s Bush.
Nigerian superstars shined bright at the event.
Wizkid clinched the Best Afican Act ahead of Burna Boy, Rema, Davido, Fireboy, Adekunle Gold and Tiwa Savage while Burna Boy edged Drake, Megan Thee Stallion and the late Pop Smoke in the Best International Act category.
Davido and Tiwa Savage were among the performers on the night.
The MOBO Awards (Music of Black Origin) is an annual music award presentation recognising achievements in music by blacks. It includes music genres like hip hop, grime, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and African music.

Best African act: Wizkid
Best reggae act: Buju Banton
Best gospel act: CalledOut Music
Best jazz act: Ego Ella May
