Olusegun Adeniyi Says Nothing Compromises The Fight Against Corruption Faster Than Undue Politicization

Olusegun Adeniyi, Chairman of the editorial board, THIS DAY Newspapers says the Muhammadu Buhari administration and the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) have turned talking about corruption into a national anthem.
In his last article, the writer, Journalist and former SA on media to the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua noted that there is need for a clear roadmap on how the administration will tackle this challenge (Corruption).
Adeniyi who took to twitter posting excerpts of the contents wrote….

The Journalist thereby noted that if President Buhari indeed wants to fight corruption in Nigeria, he still has a long way to go. "What worries me is the backslapping by those who imagine that fighting corruption is the same as engaging in some meaningless propaganda, Adeniyi wrote.
He added that "For an effective war against corruption in Nigeria, President Buhari has to be more methodical and he needs legal and institutional support.
Advising the President, he said what the President must know is that nothing compromises the fight against corruption faster than undue politicisation by his handlers.
