… As Star Beer Wraps up Lagos Countdown 2014 in Style
After 30days of giveaways, fun and excitement, the 2014 Lagos countdown powered by Star lager climaxed on December 31st 2014 gathering the biggest names across the country as well as over 200,000 Lagosians.
The countdown started on December 1st 2014 with title sponsor, Star lager setting up a beer village for the duration of the event which provided great atmosphere for fun seekers as well as building a bottle tree with 8,000 bottles of Star lager which stood as an Iconic Landmark at Bar Beach.
Star lager beer also offered top-notch entertainment as well as rewarding loyal consumers with gifts such as, TVs, Home Theatre, Rugs, Fans amongst other prizes.

Star Lager broke the world record by building a bottle tree made with 8,000 bottles of Star beer showcasing the creativity, which abounds in the country. The Lagos Countdown Grand Finale comprised series of thrilling musical performances from some of Nigeria’s biggest names such as 2face, D’banj, Wizkid, MI, Seyi Shay and many more.
A massive firework display also lit up the Eko Atlantic skyline for almost an hour with impressive configurations.
