The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) on Monday, June 3, 2024, commenced a nationwide strike in protest of the minimum wage proposal by the federal government in the face of economic hardship.
In support of the NLC/TUC actions, some Labour unions and Trade Unions have mobilised their members to support the strike.
NewsWireNGR earlier reported that members of the organised labour forced the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) to shut down operation leading to a nationwide blackout.
