Ministerial Nominees: Tinubu withdraws Maryam Shetty; appoints Festus Keyamo

President Bola Tinubu has nominated former Minister of State for Labour, Festus Keyamo, as a minister.

This was disclosed by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Friday during a plenary session.

The president replaced Maryam Shetty, his ministerial nominee for the Ministry of Women Affairs, with Dr Maigari Mahmud from Kano State.

NewsWireNGR reports that the Chief of Staff to the President and the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, earlier in the week presented the new batch of ministerial list to the Senate.
