We’re suffering to birth a new Nigeria – Tinubu’s wife, Oluremi laments

Mrs Oluremi, wife of Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Candidate, has promised prosperity and enduring economic stability for Nigerians, if her husband is elected as the President.

Mrs Oluremi said this at a town hall meeting with Persons With Disability, PWD, in Abuja on Thursday.

She stated that there would be a turnaround when her husband was elected while building on the legacies of Buhari.

Mrs Oluremi said that the hardship being experienced in the country was because the nation was in labour and on its way to birth prosperity.

She urged Nigerians to give the Muslim-Muslim a chance as the previous model did not succeed due to the activities of ‘evil forces.’

“President Muhammadu Buhari has laid the foundation, trust me, what is happening now is just delivering pains, when a mother wants to deliver, what will happen?

“Labour, pain. So we are labouring right now to birth a Nigeria that is going to be great, I can’t wait to see that Nigeria.

“I always tell people that they should try the Tinubu/Shettima ticket and if it does not work, it is a democracy, you have the opportunity in four years to vote them out. But I believe that if you try it, you will not regret it,” she said.

Mrs Oluremi who reiterated the need to vote for her husband said Nigeria’s economy would bounce back.

She assured the Persons with Disability community that Tinubu presidency would carry them along in its policy.

According to her, some section of the economy is in disability and analysis of each sector would show a need to overhaul some aspects.

“I am telling people that it is not about money, the People you see in a rally are not about money but somebody they believe can give them hope in these trying times. If we don’t hope as human beings that means, we are not worth living.”

Sadiya Farouq, the Minister, Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, called on Nigerians to give APC another chance.

Mrs Farouq said the second chance was imperative to consolidate the achievement to improve the lives of persons with disabilities in the country.
