Places on Earth With Zero Gravity

The force that holds the sun and other planets in the solar system together is gravity. This force holds us and everything on the earth’s surface or draws us towards the Earth’s centre.

In other words, if you bend more, you can fall, but if the gravitational force does not work, you will not be able to fall after bending.

Newton noted that the force of attraction between any two particles is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. However, there are some places on Earth where zero gravity or gravitational force does not exist.

Here are the top places on Earth with zero gravity

1. Spook Hill, Florida

This is a gravity hill location where the car appears to roll up the eerie hill due to an optical illusion.

Stopping or shifting your vehicle into neutral will reveal that it is being dragged up towards the mountain.

When the Native Americans eventually lost their land to settlers, the pioneer mail riders noticed their horses labouring downhill, which led to them nicknaming the spot “Spook Hill”.

2. Cosmos Mystery Area, Rapid City

You will notice some strangely bowed trees when you arrive at this location. Like in mystery spots, you can stand here without falling at an angle.

Along with this, some more phenomena were seen, like the ball going upward and not much that places felt to be changed when you went upwards.

3. Mystery Spot, Santa Cruz California

A group of surveyors discovered this location in 1939, and George Prather opened it to the public in 1940. They stated that while searching the location, they felt that various forces were at work.

They claim that there is a different type of irregularity in the magnetic field here, and that this magnetic irregularity can only be seen in 150 square feet of the circular area known as Mystery Spot.

This is where you will notice strange irregularities in gravity, such as water flowing upward, magnetic compasses deflecting at different angles, and changes in the size of people and things. You can also stand at an angle without falling at this location.

4. Magnetic Hill, Leh

It is known as the Magnetic Hill of Ladakh and stretches about 30 kilometres from Leh to Kargil. The road ahead is going uphill on this special route of the Srinagar-Leh highway.

However, if you turn off the engine and leave your vehicle in neutral, it will begin moving slowly and can reach speeds of up to 20 kilometres per hour.

The mysterious phenomenon is said to be caused by a magnetic force that pulls the car uphill. Even planes flying over this area increase their altitude to avoid magnetic interference.

5. St. Ignace mystery spot, Michigan

When some people were conducting surveys in the 1950s, their devices mysteriously stopped working; when they conducted extensive surveys of the area, they discovered that it was only happening in 300 square feet.

Not only that, animals in this area avoid the location. Several strange phenomena are seen due to the lack of gravitational force, such as standing on the wall, keeping a chair on the wall and sitting in which two feet of the chair remain on the wall and two bizarre in the air. And after staying here for a long time, you will feel your head is getting lighter.
