I Go Dye’s early success in comedy led him to work with some of Nigeria’s most prominent comedians, producers, and organizers while he was only a teenager.

He quickly rose to prominence as one of Africa’s most in-demand comedians. His comedy is also known for addressing political and social topics, although he believes that humour should never be used as a weapon or to instil hatred.

Aside from being a comedian, Basketmouth is also an actor who has won the heart of film lovers with his craft. Bovi Ugboma, a Nigerian comedian, writer, and actor, is one of several great comedians who have dominated the Nigerian comedy industry for over 20 years. His meteoric career began when he appeared on the popular TV show Extended.

Unlike other actors or comedians who began their careers in the theatre, stage, or circus ring, Bovi Ugboma had it easy because he was raised in a theatre-loving household.
