Biography
Abimbola Aisha Ademoye, popularly known as Bimbo Ademoye, is a Nigerian actress, TV personality, and model.
She was born on February 4, 1991, in Lagos, Nigeria. Bimbo Ademoye is 31 years old as of 2022.
Ademoye is one of the frequent faces on screen at the moment who captivates movie lovers with her acting dexterity.
Education
Bimbo had her elementary education at St. Margaret’s Primary School, Ikorodu, before proceeding to Mayflower Secondary School in Ikenne for her secondary education.
She then headed to Covenant University in Ota, Ogun State, to bag a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Career
Ademoye started acting in 2017 when she featured in a short film, Where Talent Lies. The film made it to Africa International Film Festival, where it won an award.
She rose to prominence when featured in her first actual movie, About Your Husband. She got the opportunity to feature in the project from Uduak Isong.
In 2018, Bimbo, alongside Stella Damasus, featured in ‘Gone’, directed by Daniel Ademinokan.
She also featured in ‘Backup Wife’, which earned her a nomination for the Nigeria Entertainment Awards as Best Lead Role.
Ademoye also expressed her dexterity in ‘Personal Assistant’, which bagged her the Best Actress in a Supporting Role award.
She has also featured in some blockbuster projects and also shared the big screen with top actors and actresses in Nigeria.
Marriage
Bimbo was allegedly dating Ghanaian businessman Nana Kwame Wiafe – CEO, Wiafe Group of companies, owner of Uni-Life Supermarkets and president of 2Hype Music & Clothing.
However, there are recent rumours that she is engaged to video jockey VJ Adams.
Adams surprised Bimbo on her 32nd birthday by bring her family to the surprise private bash, saying he knows how much she loves family.
He captioned the lovely video with, “I know how much family means to you. Happy birthday, Queen. Intimate pre-birthday.”
There are also rumours that she has a child named Ari.
Checking her Instagram posts, NewsWireNGR gathered that Ari is Bimbo’s nephew which she is so fond of.
