Musician ‘Crayon’: Biography, Career, Girlfriend, Net worth and Achievement

Charles Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known as Crayon, is a Nigerian Afropop artist and songwriter.

Crayon is a signee of Blowtime Entertainment, an offshoot of Don Jazzy’s Mavins Record.

The youngster is one of the top fast-rising music stars in Nigeria.

Crayon started his musical career in 2008 on the street where he recorded his songs, He later met producer Ozedikus and Nos, a musician, and the trio formed a formidable team.

One of his singles, “Orobo Love”, got played on different urban radio stations in Lagos, and this helped his craft get noticed.

His effort caught the attention of a music executive and the boss of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, who sent a DM to him for a meeting.

Two years later, he was offered a record deal by Blowtime Entertainment, an imprint of Mavin Records.

Under the tutelage of Don Jazzy, Crayon had the opportunity to polish his musical skill and work with top music stars in Nigeria.

One of which was been featured in the Mavins all-stars “All Is In Order” single with stars like DNA, Rema, Don Jazzy, and Korede Bello.

He was also featured in Ladipoe’s hit “Based On Kpa,” which garnered much attention.

In 2019, Crayon released a six-track EP project ‘Cray Cray“ under Blowtime Entertainment/Mavin Records.

Crayon also lent his voice in Mavin’s “Overdose”, which has amassed more than 10 million Youtube views.

In 2022, he dropped a single, Ijo Laba Laba, which became an anthem on the lip of Nigerians.

The song has peaked on various music charts.
