I’ll credit all my friends with $1m – Davido shares his earnest desire

Afrobeats super star, Davido has shared an earnest wish he would love to see happen someday.

Known for his philanthropic acts which earned him the “Humanitarian Award of the Year” at the just concluded 15th Headies, Davido tweeted he desires to show all his friends mind-blowing gesture financially.

OBO in his tweet stated he wants to be financially buoyant to the point he’d wake up one day and credit all his friends with a million dollars each.

“One day I wanna be able to wake up and credit all my friends 1 million dollars … e go happen,” the DMW boss.wrote.

On November 17, 2021, Davido challenged his friends and fans to send the sum of one million naira each to his bank account. Davido had put up a post on his Instagram and Twitter pages challenging his friends to show there love towards him by sending money to the account number he posted.

He noted that anyone who doesn’t come through with the challenge should not associate with him anymore.

He was able to raise 200 million naira in total. He added 50 million naira of his own money and set up a panel to disburse the funds to orphanage homes in Nigeria.

Davido shared a copy of the statement via Twitter with the caption “we rise by lifting others”.
