Adelabu Alexander, famously known as Magixx, is a Nigerian new talent in the music sphere.

He was born on September 27, 1999, and is the newest signee to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.

He announced his arrival into the Nigerian music industry with his debut EP, Magix EP.

His songs are gaining anointing among the Nigerian people as they are being played on various radio stations, TV and online platforms around the country.

Magixx is a member of the Mavin Academy with the likes of Crayon, Ayra Starr, Ruger, Johnny Drille, and Rema.

The youngster is a graduate of Mass Communication from the prestigious University Of Lagos.

Magixx started playing music in his undergraduate days when he performed at parties, concerts, and shows. This earned him a spot in Unilag’s entertainment community, giving him some recognition.

He took it a step further by dropping freestyle versions of popular songs on his social media page.

In 2009, he made a cover of Burna Boy’s hit track, Dangote. The video of the cover went viral on social media, especially on Instagram, where it got about 35,000 views.

In 2021, he dropped a cover of Adekunle Gold’s track, Sinner. This also went viral, amassing about 43,000 views on Instagram.

He caught the attention of music executive Don Jazzy, who admitted him to his music academy, the Mavins Academy, in 2021, and he released his debut EP, Magixx EP, in a few hours later.

His debut EP is a five-track project featuring songs like – Love Don’t Cost A Dime, Like A Movie, Pati, Gratitude, and Motivate Yourself.

To give his audience timeless music, he also had to collaborate with producers: Lomon Christopher, Randay, Kenny, Lex Luther, and Naked Beatz.

In July 2022, Magixx released his second EP. the 4 track project included songs like All Over, Week enjoyment, Shaye and Forever.
