Controversy

Stephen in 2015 alleged former president Goodluck Jonathan sent the DSS after him during electioneering for providing information service to a client, Buhari Campaign Organization who pushed over 3 million emails that went viral, giving Buhari a chance in the poll.

In April 2020, Stephen, through his Twitter page showed interest in buying Nairaland (a popular forum in Nigeria) for N100 million. This interest was however met with a clap back from Nigerians who claimed the site is worth more than that,

Below are some of the reactions to his tweet:

@AugustFlare

100m Naira? I am quite sure Nairaland makes more than that on a good year. I could also vaguely remember the owner saying he can only sell Nairaland for about N20billion and this was about 8 years ago

@ay_conrex “Seems you guys do not do your home work about osewa and his family. Whey should he collect noting less than 20bn for nairaland. 100m is what his family makes in 3 months

@theonlysol_Y’all be like feeling like Elon Musk low-key… 100M for Nairaland? Jokers… Low-budget Musks
