Richest female skit makers in Nigeria and their net worths

The Nigerian comedy industry has found its way beyond standup and stage performance. Thanks to social media, there are lots of comedienne who never came to limelight because of their stage performance, but instead because of their funny skits.

In no particular order, here are the richest female skit makers in Nigeria;

Kiekie

Her real name is Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori. Kiekie, as she is popularly known, is a Nigerian talented TV personality, model, content creator and fashion icon.

KieKie born in Ibadan on June 20, 1990, is also a brand influencer and entrepreneur based in Lagos, Nigeria.

The 32-year-old (as at 2022) content creator is famous in the Nigerian social media spaces with a massive following.

KieKie’s net worth is reportedly around $700,000 but NewsWireNGR cannot independently confirm this.

Maraji

Her real name is Gloria Oloruntobi. Maraji as she is well known was born on February 6, 1997.

She started her career making lip sync videos and miming songs. Maraji role-plays in her comedy skits and switches between accents and vocal pitches to suit each character she plays.

In an interview in 2018, Maraji stated; “I was making 10k per post in 2016. But now (2018), I make posts for N500k – N1million, and I get them very often that I turn some down.”

Her net worth is estimated by some online reports to be more $100,000 but NewsWireNGR cannot independently confirm this.

Taaooma

Her real name is Maryam Apaokagi. Taaooma as she is fondly called was born on 28 February 1999; currently 23-year-old (as at 2022).

She started online comedy in 2015 after convincing her fiancé to teach her the basics of video editing. She rose to stardom in 2019 with a skit based on African parents taking their children to school.

Taaooma is presumed to be of the richest comediennes in the entertainment industry considering the number of business, promotions, as well as endorsements she has gotten, thanks to her comedy skits.

Some reports estimated her net worth to be about $50,000 but NewsWireNGR cannot independently verify the valuation likewise, there was no report on how the platforms arrived at the estimation.

Kemz Mama

Her real name is Kemi Ikuseedun. She is however popularly known as Kemz Mama or Mummy Wa (her character name in skits with Mr Macaroni).

Mummy Wa was born 29th September, 1996 at Orile Iganmu in Lagos State. She became popular after being featured in Mr Macaroni comedy skits.

She is reportedly worth about $30,000 but there was no explanation on how platforms with the claims arrived at their evaluation.

Philo

Her real name is Ekwutousi Mary-Grace Ogbu Chioma. She’s popularly known as Philo and came into limelight after being featured in Kalistus’s Yawa Comedy Skits.

Philo was born on September 4.

She is reportedly worth about $30,000 but there was no explanation on how platforms with the claims arrived at their evaluation.
