The richest Young People from Anambra; a State touted with the highest number of millionaires in Nigeria

Anambra State is a state known for the wealthy Nigerians, touting that it has the highest number of millionaires in cash and asset in Nigeria.

In no order, we present to you some of the top wealthiest young people from the state.

Emeka Okonkwo popularly called E-Money with a net worth of millions of dollars!. E-Money is originally from Uli in Anambra state but was born and brought up in Ajegule, Lagos state.

He is the younger brother of Nigerian musician, Kcee, who has been in the music industry long before his brother hit the mega millions. His worth is estimated at $55 million, from entertainment, oil and gas business, shipment and delivery, record label and Hotels.
Emeka is an entrepreneur, investor, business tycoon, and Five Star Music’s chief executive officer (CEO). He is into Oil and Gas and Emmy Cargoes Nigeria Limited, formerly Borisa Nigeria Limited (a shipping company).

Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, is a Nigerian Based businessman, entertainer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and show killer; he is the chairman and the owner of the popular Cubana Groups. He is from Oba in Idemili, South Local Government Area of Anambra State. Obi Cubana was born on 12 April 1975. Obinna Iyiegbu, best known as OBI CUBANA, is from Oba, a community in Demili-South Local Government Area in Anambra State, Nigeria. Obi Cubana Net worth: Obi Cubana is currently one of the richest and the most influential personalities, entertainers, show promoters, and entrepreneurs in Nigeria. His net worth is estimated to be $500 million, and this is based on his income, properties, and asset. The nightlife entrepreneur, who recently ventured into the real estate business via his Casa Cubana home, also has his eyes set on inscribing the Cubana signature in the United Kingdom with a Cubana Club. The club’s building began in earnest last year and was expected to have been completed and launched by February 2022. However, work is still ongoing on the building, which will also house a restaurant mainly serving Nigerian food. Jowizaza, a Nigerian Igbo billionaire, is 35 years old and originally from Anambra State.
Real name, Joseph Eze Okafor, Jnr, popularly called Jowi Zaza, is one of the youngest billionaires in Nigeria.
He has so much wealth at the young age of 36. His billionaire dad created the businesses and has since passed them over to him. He is not just a billionaire but a socialite known within elite Nigerian circles.

He is Chief Executive Officer of his father’s business, Jezco Oil and Lubricants. The oil and gas business is one of the fastest means to make wealth. Jowi Zaza, who sits as the CEO of Jezco Oil and Lubricants, has over the years accumulated a total net worth of $74.6 million.
Joseph Eze Okafor: Jowi Zaza’s father, Joseph Eze Okafor Snr, is a business magnate from Anambra and the founder of Jezco oil.
The original owner of Jezco Oil, Chief Joseph EzeOkafor Snr, is the dad of Nigerian entrepreneur and socialite Jowizaza.
In the past, Mitsubishi Motors has given Jezco Oil Nigeria Limited an award of appreciation for Jezco Rosy’s special lubricants. He is said to own a factory that makes gasoline dispensers.
Chief Joseph Okafor is worth $2 billion and is blessed with two sons and five daughters. Jowizazaa is the Jezco Oil former boss’s successor and now Managing Director.
His father founded the famous oil and gas firm Jezco Oil and Jezco Lubricants in the 1970s. The company currently operates filling stations with retail stores across the country.
After his secondary education at Sacred Heart Seminary School Nude, Enugu state, Jowi Zaza gained admission into Madonna University, Okija, where he obtained his degree. After that left for London, United Kingdom, to get his post-graduate degree from Coventry University London, United Kingdom. The young man also holds a post-graduate business degree from the Kelce College of Business in Pittsburg, United States, which he acquired in 2013.

Rt. Hon. Obinna Chidoka

Rt. Hon. Obinna Chidoka was born January 7, 1974, he is an indigene of Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

He is a sociology graduate of the University of Lagos and an Honourable member of the House of Representatives representing Idemili North and Idemili South Federal Constituency in the 8th Nigerian National Assembly. He is the Chairman of the House Committee on Environment and Habitat.
Chidoka was the youngest member of the House of Representatives in the 6th Assembly, where he had his first stint from June 2007 – July 2008 (13 months), during which he sponsored several bills and motions.
In addition to being the chairman of the House Committee on Environment and Habitat, he is a member of House Committees on Aviation, Constituency Outreach, Industry, Petroleum (Downstream), Youth and Social Development, Culture & Tourism and Local Content in the 8th Assembly.
Obinna is the younger brother of Osita Chidoka, a former Corps Marshal, Chief Executive of Federal Road Safety Corps, and past Minister of Aviation in Nigeria.
His brother Osita served under President Goodluck Jonathan.

Chukwuebuka Obi-Uchendu

Chukwuebuka Obi-Uchendu, born July 14 1982, is a Nigerian lawyer and media personality from Okija in Anambra State, Nigeria. He is known for hosting the reality show Big Brother Naija, the long-running Rubbin’ Minds talk show on Channels TV, and co-hosting The Spot and Men’s Corner on Ebonylife Television.
He is an ambassador for Budweiser Nigeria, Samsung Nigeria, PorkMoney, and 2Sure Nigeria.
Obi-Uchendu has received several nominations and won the Outstanding TV Presenter of the Year award at the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards for his work on Rubbin’ Minds.

Ebuka Uchendu is currently one of the wealthiest and most influential On-Air personalities and television hosts in Nigeria, with an estimated net worth of about N300million.
In 2006, he went in as one of the 14 housemates on the first-ever season of the popular reality show Big Brother Nigeria finishing in eighth place. To date, he is one of the most visibly successful and active BBN 2006 housemates. In January 2017, he was announced as the host of the second season of Big Brother Naija.
After the reality show in 2006, he signed endorsement deals with a major telecommunications brand and a famous brewing company. He hosted Friend or Foe on NTA, the GLO Show, and NTA, as well as Guinness’ Greatness TV. He also anchored a weekly column called Contrast with a Nigerian national daily newspaper, This day, for up to 4 years. Mark Okoye II

Mark Okoye II was born June 15 1986, and he is a Nigerian politician, public service official and state cabinet member in Anambra State, South East Nigeria.
Okoye gained national acclaim in 2016 when he was named the Commissioner for Economic Planning, Budget and Development Partners under the administration of Governor Willie Obiano, which made him the youngest Nigerian to be called a commissioner since the onset of Nigeria’s Fourth Republic in 1999. He had previously served as the Senior Special Assistant on Investments to former Governor Peter Obi; he was also the pioneer Executive Director and Secretary to the Anambra State Investment Protection and Promotion Agency (ANSIPPA).
Okoye began his professional career at Afrinvest Limited, an independent investment banking firm focused on West Africa. He worked on several financial advisory and capital raising projects for clients across the public and private sectors. Okoye eventually quit his banking job to pursue a career in the public sector.
In July 2012, Okoye was appointed as senior special assistant to Governor Peter Obi on Investments.
At the age of 26, he was entrusted with managing Anambra State’s investment infrastructure, which led to the conceptualization of the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA) – Anambra’s first investment promotion agency, and he served as the pioneer Executive Director.
In 2016, he was sworn in as the commissioner for Economic Planning, Budget and Development Partners, with a mandate to drive the development and execution of Anambra state’s economic blueprint, medium-term strategic plans and annual budgets. His appointment made him the youngest Nigerian to be appointed a Commissioner since the beginning of the Fourth Republic in 1999. His Net worth is not made public, but he is also one of the state’s youngest wealthy and most influential young people.

Aloysius Nnamdi Ikegwuonu, popularly known as Bishop Ozubulu

Aloysius Nnamdi Ikegwuonu, popularly known as Bishop Ozubulu, was born and raised in Ozubulu Anambra State in 1981 to the family of Chief Ikegwuonu of Amakwa Ozubulu. 

Bishop Ozubulu grew up in a poor background and reportedly helped his mother, who sold at Orie Akpu market, Off Ugwu Orie Bus Stop of Amakwa Ozubulu.

The famous Ozubulu philanthropist, ‘Aloyee’ as his close mates locally called him in his early stage of life, arrived in the limelight in 1999 when he emerged as the senior prefect of Comprehensive Secondary School (formerly College of Basic Studies, C.B.S.) Egbema Ozubulu; is a school created by Reverend Father Nwabaju Izuchi, a United States-based Catholic priest.

Bishop Ozubulu began an immediate move after his May/June WASSCE examination in 2000. He travelled to South Africa in March 2001, where he became a multi-millionaire within the first four months of his stay in South Africa. His source of wealth is shrouded in secrecy.
