Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola, public endorsement of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has generated mixed reactions.
NewsWireNGR had earlier reported that the founder of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd in a tweet on Tuesday said; “May God grant him his heart’s desire in becoming the President of this great Nation”.
Reacting to the post, a Twitter user, @Akanni_Omo_yewa, said; “I understand this wishes. For your own business interests”.
Another user, @Olabisiii27, stated; “Una Sha wan milk this country dry”.
In a tweet quote, @RealOlaudah, said; “I don’t know if you expect Femi Otedola not to support Bola Tinubu’s candidacy. These are establishment people wired to keep commoners like me and you under permanent subjugation. It’s all about personal interests for them at that realm of selfishness. They don’t care about us”.
Meanwhile, there were also comments in support of the business mogul.
@mamatee001 said, “Oteeeeeedooooooolaaaaaaaaa!!! Constant love for U on this! Thank U for identifying and proclaiming our president 2023” (sic).
Another supporter, @AdamsAbdlrahman, claimed; “Nigerians needs maturity, Its a breach of fundamental human right if u think people doesn’t have their own right to choose their own candidates. If he say Tinubu thats his own choice Am for Tinubu that’s my choice And am not preventing anyone from supporting his/her choice” (sic).
