Biography 

Known for her crying roles in movies, Charity Eke, popularly known as Chacha Eke Faani, is a Nigerian actress from Ebonyi State

Early Life

During the Miss Nollywood Talent Hunt Show in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria, in 2009, Chacha Eke joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood). Eke began attending movie auditions after the competition and has since appeared in a few of the films.

Her rise to fame came when she starred in the 2012 drama film, The End is Near.

Husband

She married Austin Faani Ikechukwu a movie director in 2013; the couple has four children.

In 2020, Chacha Eke-Faani, Nollywood actress said she was no longer staying in her old marriage and then made a-turn. 

In June, 2022, she took to her instagram accountt, again to announce the end of her marriage, the actress wrote, “LEAVE NOW ALIVE OR LEAVE AS A CORPSE ??”

The actress who became famous in 2012 when she starred in the Nollywood blockbuster “The End is Near,” continued, “Many have died pretending all is well whilst wishing, hoping and praying for a better tomorrow”.

The mother of four who has before now raised an alarm over her marriage and then recanted says “I don’t want to “die” or go inexplicably “missing”.

Children

As of 2021, Chacha Eke and her husband have four lovely children together – three girls and a boy. The children are named Kamara Faani, Kaira Faani, Chiemerie Faani, and Diamond Kandili-Chukwu Faani respectively. The last child, Diamond, was born on April 24, 2021.

Eke is the daughter of Ebonyi State Commissioner for Education, Professor John Eke.
