Seyi Tinubu, the only surviving son of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress. Tinubu is also the 2023 presidential candidate of the party ahead of the elections. Seyi had become of the most influential Nigerians and wealthy too.

He is currently married to his wife, Layal Jade Tinubu. Layal Holm and Seyi Tinubu got married in Lake Como, Italy.

He received an LLB from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom, in 2011 and became a member of the Nigeria Bar Association in 2013.

Seyi Tinubu’s Father:

Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu  is a Nigerian accountant and politician who has been national leader of the All Progressives Congress since the party’s formation in 2013 and the president-elect in 2023.

He served as the Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007 and Senator for Lagos West during the brief Third Republic.

 In January 2022, he announced his intention to run for the APC nomination for President of Nigeria in the 2023 presidential election and is the party’s flagbearer

In 2020, he was inducted into the Institute of public resources management and politics Ghana. In 2019 he has crowned the Ecowas Youth Ambassador for Entrepreneurship and youth development. He won the peace legend award as the Entrepreneur of the year. Etc.

Seyi was at the tiller of the company’s merger with Promomedia in 2016, which saw the company opening up its portfolio of services by incorporating digital advertising. Loatsad Promomedia has since taken strides in defining its position in the Out of Home Advertising sector, especially in its recent acquisition of E-motion Advertising Ltd, a leading advertising firm.

Real Estate

 Even as the CEO/Chairman of Loatsad Promomedia, Seyi has proficiently taken charge of services that border telecommunications, energy, banking and finance, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, education, government, and real estate.

Currently, Seyi has reportedly invested luxury buildings in different Lagos neighbourhoods. Old Ikoyi, for example, has the highest number of luxury apartments and Seyi has long picked up interested in property businesses.

Controversy

Seyi Tinubu made headlines for impregnating his baby mama, and the wife had allegedly packed out of their home. 

In December 2021, it was alleged that Layal Tinubu moved out of their matrimonial home after discovering that her husband was expecting a second child with his baby mama, Freda Francis.

Layal has also blocked and unfollowed her husband, Seyi Tinubu, on the photo and video-sharing app Instagram.

Reacting to this in a post shared on his Instagram story, Seyi Tinubu said that the report is false and should be discountenanced.

He wrote: “My attention has been brought to a story on Tattle Roomng Instagram page. I want to state categorically that the basis is false and should be discountenanced. Thank you “
