Who is Mo Abudu?

Mosunmola Abudu who is popularly known as Mo Abudu is a philanthropist, a former human resources management consultant and currently, a Nigerian media Mogul.

She was born in London, the United Kingdom (UK) on the 11th of September 1964.

She is aged 57 years old ( and would be 58-year-old by September, 2022). Mo moved back to live in Nigeria at the age of 11.

Abudu is the eldest of three daughters in her family and she has two children, a boy and a girl who are Temidayo Abudu and Adekoyejo Abudu.

Mo Abudu has been producing and co-producing the highest-grossing Nigerian films for years now.

In 2016 she produced a box office movie called the Wedding Planner and went ahead in 2018 to produce another cinema worthy film called Chief Daddy.

She is also the writer and producer of lovely like The Royal hibiscus Hotel, Blood Sisters, and Going for Broke, among others.

In 2013, Abudu was listed by Hollywood Reporter as one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Global TV. 

Again, in 2013 , Forbes Africa recognised Abudu as the first African woman to own a Pan-Africa TV channel .

Mo Abudu’s daughter, Temidayo Abudu, had a Californian chic style theme wedding in Los Angeles.

She is married to Adebola Makanjuola. Mo Abudu’s daughter is a film producer and a copywriter. But unfortunately, the father of the bride, Tokunbo Abudu wasn’t in attendance for this grand wedding.
