Being a big-picture, cultural impact, K-dramas have gradually evoke a world wide phenomenon, and if you aren’t watching K-dramas, you are missing out.
K-dramas are known for their many plot twists, intense storyline and ‘WTF’ moments.
K Dramas like ‘Squid Game’ and ‘All Of Us Are Dead’ are some of the most watched shows on Netflix, and for good reason. Below are 10 of the top k-dramas to watch in 2022:
1. Squid Game

If you haven’t already, you should see Squid game. This Netflix series revolves around a contest where 456 players participate.
All the players, deep financial debt, risk their lives to play a series of deadly children’s games for a chance to win a 45.6 billion won prize.
2. All Of Us Are Dead

This is another Netflix series that mostly takes place at a high school in South Korea as a zombie apocalypse suddenly breaks out and threatens the safety of the students.
It is based on the Naver webtoon ‘Now at Our School’ by Joo Dong-geun, which was published between 2009 and 2011.
All of us are dead is not your typical Zombie apocalypse movie. There is something in there for everyone, from romance to action lovers.
3. Mouse

Mouse is a Korean Drama that follows a steadfast police officer whose life changed when he encounters a psychopathic serial killer. This drives him and his partner to unearth the truth behind psychopathic behaviours.
4. Glass mask

The series follows, a woman whose father is a murderer. She must deal with tough times and also plot her revenge. To fulfill her revenge, she assumes another woman’s identity
5. Descendants of the sun

This series is about a love story that develops between a Captain from South Korean Special Forces and a Doctor who works as a Surgeon at Haesung Hospital in Seoul.
They will find themselves in the middle of great events and deadly dangers, both in their Motherland and in the fictitious, war-torn country of Urk.
6. Six Flying Dragon

Six Flying Dragons is set during the end of the Goryeo era and depicts the founding of the Joseon dynasty through immense political struggle. Six people become prominent figures in the movement that centers around the future king and a political strategist
7. Vincenzo

This K drama is one of the few Legal K dramas in existence. It focuses on the life of a boy who gets adopted and moves to Italy. He grows to be a lawyer Lawyer, who works for the Mafia as a consigliere.
Because of a war between mafia groups, he flees to South Korea. In South Korea, he gets involved with another lawyer who is the type of attorney who will do anything to win a case.
8. Sky Castle

Sky Castle is a dark satirical drama about the lives, motivations, and greed of upper-class families and how it all comes down to academia. While the drama is about four affluent families, the stars of the show are the women of these households and how they run everything.
9. Arthdal Chronicles

Arthdal Chronicles is a K drama that depicts the birth of civilization and nations in ancient times. It is a story of mythical heroes, their struggle, unity and love of people living in a virtual land called Arth. Set in the fictional land of Arthdal during ancient times.
10. Kangchi

Also known as ‘Gu Family Book’ this is a historical fantasy about a half human/half gumiho (nine-tailed mythical fox) named Choi Kang Chi.
Kang Chi’s mother, Seo Hwa, was a human and his father, Wol Ryung, was a gumiho. Their tragic love story ended with Kang Chi being raised by another family, unaware of his true nature.
