Trevor Noah reacts as Grammy bans Kanye West from performing

American rapper, fashion designer  and record producer, with stage name ‘Ye’ has been banned from performing at the Grammy Awards show despite having 5 nominations.

Reps for the ‘Praise God’ singer confirmed he was kicked of the line-up due to his ‘Concerning Online Behaviour’. 

This decision is coming after the rapper’s Instagram account got suspended for violating the social media platform’s policy against harassment, bullying, and hate speech. 

Earlier this week, he attacked his ex-wife, Pete Davidson whom the ex-wife moved on with, and South African comedian Trevor Noah, calling him a racial slur, all in Instagram.

Host for the Grammy Awards show, Trevor Noah did in fact react to news of Kanye West being pulled from the line-up of performances. 

Trevor took to his Twitter page on March 20, 2022, to tweet “I said counsel Kanye not cancel Kanye.”
