Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel has described Nigeria’s music industry as a cabal, where singers need to “belong.”
It is however not clear what led to his message, Daniel who released his first studio album titled New Era on May 14, 2016, stated, “Be calm and locate sense, for this is not an industry it’s a cabal. Who no belong will be long. I be Barnabas, I do it for the passion/love, and I am F**KING great at it. #VADO.”
After his exit from his former label G-WorldWide, he went to float his own personal imprint FLYBOY I.N.C. which recently signed two new acts Demmie Vee and Philkeyz. After which Kizz Daniel was featured on Demmie Vee single entitled “You Go Wait?”

On the 30th of December 2018, Kizz Daniel released his 2nd Studio album and his first under FlyBoy Inc titled “No Bad Songz”. The album contained 20 Songs including the pre-released One Ticket which he featured DMW Boss, Davido.
According to PwC Global Entertainment and Media Outlook for 2020-2024, “Nigeria’s media and entertainment industry is one of the fastest growing creative industries in the world. It has the potential to become the country’s greatest export, with projected annual growth rate of 8.6% and a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.3% from 2018-2023. PwC indicates that in 2021, Nigeria’s film industry contributed 2.3% and about 239 billion naira ($660 million) to GDP and projects that the industry will increase its export revenue earnings to over $1 billion. The motion picture and music recording industry exceeded 2020 projected $806 million revenue contributing about 730 billion naira ($1.8 billion) to the country’s GDP”.
