Zamfara Lawmaker’s Father, Stepmother Abducted

Armed bandits have abducted the father of Nasiru Muazu Magarya, the Speaker of Zamfara State House of Assembly, FIJ can report.

The Speaker’s stepmother, uncle, and four other family members were also abducted during the bandits’ invasion.

According to Yusuf Anka, a resident of the state, the abduction happened on Wednesday evening at Magarya, Zurmi Local Government of the state.

Muhammad Shehu, the spokesman of the state police, has said he would a press statement on the abduction.
