Real Madrid star, Karim Benzema has tested positive for Covid-19.

The club in a statement on Friday revealed this as they announced the France international would not be joining the Blancos squad as they begin the preseason under new coach,  Carlo Ancelotti.

He would begin his isolation and join the team once he tests negative.
