Sallah: Aliyu approves immediate payment of June salary to Sokoto civil servants

Governor Ahmad Aliyu of Sokoto state has approved the immediate payment of June salary to the state and local government staff, teachers, and pensioners across the state.

A statement by the press secretary to the governor Abubakar Bawa says this is in fulfillment of the governor’s campaign to ensure prompt payment of salaries and also to ensure that civil servants celebrate the Eid El Kabir with ease.

The governor further reassured workers of his commitment to revive the lost glory of civil service and urged them to reciprocate the gesture by being dedicated to their duties.

The statement also urged the people of the state to pray for the present administration to succeed in meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
