I sang ‘Mama’ to get my ex-girlfriend back but didn’t work — Kizz Daniel breaks silence about his ex

Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has said that one of his popular hit song, Mama, was a message and an attempt to get his ex- girlfriend back after he messed up.

Kizz Daniel revealed this in an interview shared on the Instagram page of tooexclusive. He revealed that he messed up so badly and tried to beg her with the song. When asked if the song worked, the singer said it didn’t. The ex-girlfriend is now married with kids.

He said, “Mama was actually a text message to my ex. The old song was a text to my ex. I was trying to beg her to come back to me.” When asked what he did. He said,” yeah I messed up, I messed up, yeah, so i, I try to write a song.”

“She didn’t come back. She is married now with kids.” Kizz Daniel’s Mama was released in 2016.

Checks done on his Youtube channel revealed that ‘Mama’ has garnered 42 million as at 2021, views making it the most viewed music video released by Kizz Daniel followed by ‘One Ticket’ video featuring BET award-winner, Davido which has 40 million views.
