The Oba Of Benin, Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba is not left out of polygamous marriages as he has several wives according to the customs and traditions of his forefathers.

Among his wives are two sisters who are identical in facial features. They cause a stir on social media with their photos as fans cannot tell the elder from the younger one. They live together in peace and harmony with their husband, the Oba of Benin.

But we bring details of both sisters from the same biological parents married to the Oba of Benin.

Queen (Oloi) Owamagbe Ewuare is the fourth wife and older sister. Together they have two children while Queen Aisosa is the 5th wife of the HM King or Oba Ewuare 11 of the Benin Kingdom in Nigeria.

She is the sister of the fourth queen and was allegedly noticed by the king while visiting her sister. Together they welcomed quadruplets (three boys and one girl) on the 7th of August 2021. Both Siblings have 6 children in total for the King.

The Secretary of the Benin Traditional Council, Frank Irabor, announced the arrival of the quadruplet babies birthed by the fifth wife in a statement posted on the Oba of Benin’s official Facebook page.

He described the birth of the babies as an “unprecedented and historical event” in the Benin Royal family.

“By the grace of the Almighty God and the benevolence of our ancestors, the Benin Traditional Council on behalf of his royal majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, Oba of Benin and the Royal Palace of Benin kingdom, joyfully wish to announce that her royal highness, Queen Aisosa Ewuare of Benin Kingdom, has delivered a set of quadruplets (three boys and a girl). Yes quadruplets,” the statement read.
