Popular Kaduna Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Abubakar, is dead

Sheikh Dahiru Lawal-Abubakar, the chief Imam of Maiduguri Road Central Mosque, Kaduna was on Wednesday confirmed dead.

The late Islamic Scholar died at the Nigerian Army 44 Reference Hospital.

Lawal-Abubakar’s death was confirmed by his younger brother, Barrister Shuaibu Lawal.

He disclosed the deceased died at the age of 52  after a brief illness, adding that the deceased had been buried according to Islamic rites.

He was one of the sons of late renowned Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Lawal Abubakar.
