Drug Cartel: Police hand over Abba Kyari to NDLEA
The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has arrested and handed over a suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari a few hours after he was declared wanted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
Recall the Abba Kyari was fingered by NDLEA to have been strongly linked to “a drug cartel that operates the Brazil-Ethiopia-Nigeria illicit drug pipeline”.
Giving a timeline of an incident which informed the decision, the stated time by the Agency coincided to a period during which Abba Kyari is suspended and investigated for his alleged link with cyber fraudster, Hushpuppi, who has pleaded guilty in the United States.
According to a source quoted by reliable online media, Abba Kyari, was arrested alongside four others.
Meanwhile, a Poll conducted by NewsWireNGRVIDEO Evidence: Abba Kyari caught on camera negotiating with NDLEA official during his indictment in the Hushpuppi’s case revealed 95 per cent of Nigerians think he is guilty.
To assess Nigerians thought, NewsWireNGR had posted a poll on Twitter asking; “Do you think DCP Abba Kyari is guilty of the allegations levelled against him by Hushpuppi/FBI?
The poll garnered 219 responses out of which 95 per cent voted Yes while 5 per cent voted No.
Commenting, a Twitter user @daviche20 said; “Most police officers are cunning”.
