Tiwa savage remembers dad on first post-humous birthday
Nigerian singer-songwriter and actress, Tiwatope Savage, stage name ‘Tiwa Savage’ is remembering her father’s first birthday after his demise.
She took to her Instagram story on Sunday, February 6, 2022, to share a photo of herself with her father, where she writes about his first absence on his birthdate.
Her post reads “Today is the first time you not being here on your birthday Daddy. Happy birthday king. I love and miss you. Keep resting in perfect peace Savy t’eko (red heart emoji)”
Tiwa savage announced the passing of her father in a heartfelt post via her verified Instagram account, on the morning of his passing on July 20, 2021.
“Early hours of this morning you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy, it’s been rough for you these past couple of years but you are resting now,” she wrote.
