Police officer allegedly shoots dead teenager over sachet water in Kogi
There was a protest in Kabba in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State over the alleged shooting to death of a teenage boy by a policeman because of sachet water.
NewsWireNGR gathered the teenager had taken the sachet water from the policeman’s car to drink without his permission.
Angered by the teenager’s action, the policeman pulled his trigger sending the boy to an early grave.

Reacting to the development, Kogi State Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Egbuka, stated that the information from the Area Commander of the Police in the area was different from the claims being spread.
CP Egbuka said that the Policeman had tried to defend himself from the victim, promising to investigate the matter further and get the true position of things.
