Gombe APC suspends former lawmaker, Barambu, over ‘anti-party activities’

A stalwart of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and former lawmaker, Umaru Barambu, has been suspended by the Gombe chapter of the party over “anti-party activities”.
The executive committee of the party at Lembi ward, Akko Local Government Area, alleged the lawmaker who represented Akko federal constituency until 2019 had shown traces of anti-party tendencies.
According to the Chairman of the party in the ward Gwani Audu, at the state APC secretariat, the ward executive committee would not allow anyone to sabotage the party especially as the 2023 general elections draw closer hence their unanimous decision to suspend the party stalwart.
