2022 Budget: Interior ministry to spend N587m on fuel, N134m on generators

A breakdown of the 2022 Budget signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari reveals the interior ministry would be funding motor fuel cost with N587,197,500 and N134,971, 440 on fuel plants and generators.

The ministry would also spend N60 million on the construction of a gym centre with recreation facilities.

Other maintenance services would gulp N420, 950, 885.

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) however would spend over N209.5 million on uniforms and other clothing in the 2022 budget.

It will spend more than N76.5 million on the supply of foodstuffs and catering materials while expending another N10.7 million on “Refreshments and Meals” while its security charges will gulp N71.65million.
