APC’s Godwin Obaseki Polls 319, 483 Votes, Emerges Governor-Elect #EdoDecides

Mr. Godwin Obaseki of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the Edo State Governorship election, polling a total of 319,483 votes to defeat his closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, who polled 253, 173, according to the official results from the 18 local governments in the state as announced by the electoral commission on Thursday.
Total votes cast was 613,244, the total valid votes was 582,299 while 30,945 votes were rejected. APC won 13 of the 18 LGAs
