Results collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kwara state, indicate that Bukola Saraki wonKwara Central Senatorial District to return as Senator. A summary of the votes cast; total votes 195,304 total valid votes 187,585. APC votes 118,879. PDP 66,864.

Senator Saraki confirmed the news on his twitter handle @bukolasaraki, while also thanking those that voted him and admonishing his opponents to work him for the good of Kwara people
