The ECOWAS Court of Justice, sitting in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, has ordered the Nigerian government to clear the aftermath of the civil war within 45 days, while asking it to pay N88billion in damages to victims.

They also sort that the court makes the FG rebuild areas affected by the war, including some parts of the north central region.
They had asked for N100billion as damages from the FG but were awarded N88billion.
The civil war otherwise called the Biafra war, ended over 47 years ago, on January 15, 1970.
