Lagos To Generate N50bn Internal Revenue Monthly

The Governor of Lagos Akinwunmi Ambode says the state has the potential to generate N50 billion monthly as internal revenue.

Governor Ambode said this on Friday at a colloquium on the state of the nation, organised in Ikoyi, Lagos, by the Coalition of Nigerian Apostolic Leaders (CNAL).

The governor who was represented by the state Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Mr Akinyemi Ashade, said the state was currently realising only 65 per cent of is capacity.

Ambode stated that the current economic recession in the country has had its effect on the state but it was restrategising saying it had the population to reach its desired goal.
