Buhari Meets “Angry” APC Governors At State House Over Ambassadorial Nominees
President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a closed door meeting with governors of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting has in attendance, the Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, the Chairman of the APC Governors Forum, who is also the governor of Imo State, Chief Rochas Okorocha.
Details of the meeting have not been made known to journalists at the time of this report.
Villa sources say the governors may have been piqued by some of the actions of the President which may not have been favourable with the APC governors.
One of such is the ambassadorial list which many say has not favoured the governors choices.
The governors present include the chairman of the governors forum Abdulaziz Yari, of Zamfara state, chairman of the progressive governors, Rochas Okorocha of Imo state, Ogun State Ibukunle Amosu, Edo State Adams Oshiomhole, Kano, Borno , Kogi, Benue and Kaduna State Nasiru El Rufai.
Those who are not present have their deputies to represent them.
