Armed Men Storm Lagos School, Abduct Vice Principal, Pupils

Gunmen who came in a speedboat stormed Igbo Nla Model College in the Igbo Nla, Epe area of Lagos State on Thursday and abducted four persons in the school.

Our correspondent learnt that the abductors who shot sporadically into the air, initially took four pupils, with the vice-principal and a teacher and headed for the waterway.

Two pupils were reportedly rescued by a police team which mobilised to the school, but the gunmen had escaped with two pupils, a teacher and the VP.

The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, confirmed the abduction, saying the police are on an aerial surveillance of the area.

“The command, the navy, the SSS, the army and the marine police are all involved in the search,” Owoseni said.

He later left for Epe, reports PUNCH Newspaper..
