Just In: Veteran Nollywood Actress Bukky Ajayi Passes Away

Veteran Nollywood actress and former TV newscaster, Bukky Ajayi has died.

Mama Bukky Ajayi as she is fondly referred to died this morning, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 after a battle with heart-related issues.

Some Nollywood actors under the umbrella of The Actors Advocate recently paid the late actress a courtesy visit

According to the Africa Magic Hush star, “Mumsie passed away about thirty minutes ago. God knows best.”

Mama Ajayi’s last public outing was earlier this year when she received an achievement award at this year’s Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Before her passing, she acting in dozens of stage and film productions and TV series. She was also an accomplished television newscaster.
