No Harassment’ll Make Me Stop Criticizing Buhari’s Policies – Says Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, on Wednesday reiterated that no amount of harassmemt, coercion and deployment of state machinery would make him back down from his resolve to criticize any federal government’s policy that won’t benefit the masses.

Fayose said the current invasion of the state and clampdown on state officials by men of the Department of State Services notwithstanding, he would continue to raise his voice against any obnoxious policy initiated by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The governor, who arrived the state from Abuja where he had been since Sunday to attend a PDP meeting, said no policy of the FG that is inimical to the welfare of the people would be spared by his comments.?

In a press statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi on Wednesday, Fayose in his official reaction to the alleged DSS invasion of the House of Assembly Complex, where four lawmakers were apprehended and whisked away to Abuja, said he remained resolute in his determination to criticize thew FG in the interest of Nigeria and our democracy.
