Just In: Abducted Lagos Female School Girls Rescued In Ikorodu

The three female students of Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary, Ikorodu, Lagos state, who were kidnapped from their hostel on Monday have been rescued.

The circumstances of their freedom are still hazy, but they were said to have been rescued at Igbo Okuta area of Ikorodu.

Steve Ayorinde, Lagos state commissioner for information and culture, confirmed the development to newsmen

“I can also confirm that no ransoms were paid,” he said.

The police rescued them last night and also arrested some suspects. Lagos state Commissioner of Police who confirmed the story said he would be addressing newsmen by 2pm.
