Nigerian Military Discovers Another IED Factory In Borno State

The Nigerian military in its ongoing mop up operations against Boko Haram Terrorists in the North East has discovered yet another bomb-making factory in Borno State.

The Director of Army Public Relations (DAPR), Col. Sani Usman, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, with attached photographs of some of the recovered bomb-making items.

According to Usman “troops of 7 Division Strike Group Team B on clearance operations of the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists at Kumshe made startling discoveries of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) making factories replete with some equipment”.

Early this year, the troops of 25 Task Force Brigade Nigerian Army uncovered another bomb making factory in Borno state, barely a month one was busted in Dikwa Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

Usman had disclosed that the discovery was made during a cordon and search operations.

He said that the “Brigade during a cordon and search operation at Sandia, Kokakowa and Nyaleri villages suspected to be Boko Haram enclaves early today, discovered and destroyed another Improvised Explosives Device (IED) making factory at Miyati and Nyaleri villages, along Maiduguri-Bulabulin-Damboa road, in Damboa LGAs of Borno State, Nigeria”.
