The yet-to-be registered political party is known as Peoples Mega Party.

The new political platform was however believed to be packaged by fronts of aggrieved members of the PDP.

He said the decision to form the new party arose because of the crises that followed the resignation of the former National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu.

Opara flayed the national leadership of the party for its refusal to allow someone from the North-East replace Mu’azu immediately the former governor of Bauchi State resigned after the 2015 elections.
