13 People Rescued From Atlantic Ocean After Bistrow Helicoper Crash In Lagos

It was a fast and successful rescue operation at the scene of the crashed Brisyow helicopter in Lagos State as the eleven passengers and crew members were rescued alive .

Thirteen people , including the eleven passenger , the pilot and the co pilot were rescue from the Atlantic ocean , where the helicopter crashed

The south west spokesperson of the National Emergency Management Agency, Ibrahim Farinloye confirmed the successful rescue exercise.

He also added that that the passengers and and crew members were all rescued alive.

Farinloye said ” eleven passengers and crew have been rescued alive from Bristow Helicopter crash ”

The NEMA spokesperson gave the coordinate location of the crashed helicopter as 05 44 3N 004 16.9E .

He also added that the rescue operations was fast because the Nigeria Mission Centre picked the distress alert beacon from the crashed helicopter .

The rescue operation, which was vordinated by operatives of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency and National Emergency Management Agency also had officlas from the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency , Lagos State Emergency Management Agency , Marine Police .
