APC Planning To “Unleash Fake Soldiers And Police” In Benue South Senatorial Re-run – PDP Alleges

The Benue State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is planning to “unleash fake soldiers and Police” in the area to manipulate the Benue South Senatorial re-run slated for February 13.

State chairman of the PDP, Dr. Emmanuel Agbo in a statement on Sunday in Abuja claimed that the APC stakeholders have started “recruiting armed thugs” who would disguise as Soldiers or Mobile Policemen to cover the election.

The party expressed optimism that the Army and the Police authorities would not tolerate the “evil plot” and urged them to discharge their duties in line with the provisions of the law.

“We have it on good authority about the moves by the APC in Benue State to infiltrate the Vigilante group, sew army and police uniforms and arm them for the election,” he said.
