Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on handing over the newly acquired crime fighting equipments to the State Police Command and the Rapid Response Squad (RRS),  he charged the police to ensure that the equipment are deployed effectively to tackle criminal activities as residents will no longer accept excuses.

Though the governor had urged the officers of the State Police Command to ensure that the purpose for which the equipment was acquired is not defeated, it seems his political leader and godfather now uses the helicopters for personal assignments.

“We say to whom much is given, much is expected. Law enforcement officers are never ‘off duty.’ They are dedicated public servants who are sworn to protect the public at any time and place. Lagosians will not accept excuses”, Ambode had said, a statement which now lacks merit as Tinubu is seen using the equipments.

Who authorised the usage of the Lagos Helicopter meant for crime fighting? Tinubu is said to own personal helicopter and runs a commercial airline as part of his many businesses.
