Emir Sanusi Sacks Eldest Son Of Late Emir Of Kano From His Position As “Ciroman Kano”

Kano Emirate Council has sacked Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero, the eldest son of Late Emir of Kano Alhaji Ado Bayero from his position as “Ciroman Kano”, Bayero has also been relieved of his duty post as District head of Gwale local government over his disloyalty to the present Emir of Kano Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

Announcing the sacking of the late Bayero’s son from his position, the Galadima of Kano, Abbas Sanusi said ” the late Bayero son, Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero did not respect the traditional institution of Kano”.

The statement announced the appointment of Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero as the new “Ciroma of Kano.”

The state police commissioner has deployed hundred of police officers around the palace of the Emir to forestall any trouble in the state.

It was recalled that the dethroned Ciroma of Kano contested for the position of emir along with current Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II but lost.

Mr. Bayero was compensated with a position of Managing Director of Nigeria Port Authority by former President Goodluck Jonathan, but he was sacked by President Muhammadu Buhari a few months ago.
